Job summary

• Excellent written and verbal communication and coordination skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple compliance activities and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Monitor updates to National Privacy Commission (NPC) issuances and applicable data privacy regulations, and assist the Data Privacy Office in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in maintaining the organization's Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Work closely with the DPO in monitoring, documenting, and validating privacy incidents and data breaches.
• Assist in developing and conducting data privacy training and awareness campaigns across the organization.
• Support the DPO in implementing data privacy policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in internal compliance, regulatory compliance, data privacy, or a related field.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Familiarity with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and relevant NPC issuances and advisories.
• Exposure to ISO standards related to information security, business continuity, and quality management.
• Experience in document control, compliance reporting, and risk assessment.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, particularly when working with cross-functional teams.

Training

• Training or certification in data privacy, information security, or compliance auditing is an advantage.
