Job summary

Tanza Specialists Medical Center in Cavite, Philippines is seeking a Data Privacy Officer to develop, implement, and monitor the organization's privacy program in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Job Purpose

Develop, implement, and monitor the organization's data privacy program, policies, procedures and controls while ensuring that these are aligned with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and related rules under the National Privacy Commission.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct privacy impact assessments and risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities in data processing operations.
• Prompt the leadership about data protection strategies and risk mitigation measures.
• Facilitate data subject requests such as access, correction, or deletion of personal data.
• Coordinate with IT and security teams to implement technical and organizational measures for data protection.
• Serve as the point of contact for the NPC and data subjects regarding privacy concerns or incidents
• Conduct and oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments.
• Maintain Records of Processing Activities and ensure accuracy for audits and regulatory reporting.
• Lead privacy risk assessments, gap analyses, and remediation planning.
• Review and negotiate data processing agreements, and other privacy-related contractual terms.
• Manage data breach response, including investigation, containment, regulatory notifications, and remediation

About you

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in those related to healthcare or hospital administration.
• Above-average knowledge of the Data Privacy standards and concepts.
• At least Two years of working knowledge in the same field of work.
• Strong sense of confidentiality, independence, and objectivity.
