About the role
Own the integrity, structure and automation of data across the Manila GCC's core enabling functions — Finance, People & Culture (P&C), Procurement and Data Science — so that leadership can trust the numbers without having to interrogate them. This role sets the data principles the GCC runs on, builds the live reporting infrastructure that makes performance visible in real time, and keeps that infrastructure working as systems, teams and demands change.
The Manila GCC currently pulls data from multiple functions that were never designed to talk to each other — different systems, different owners, different definitions of the same metric. This role exists to close that gap: to be the person who can walk into Finance's system, P&C's system and Procurement's system, understand what each one is actually saying, and turn that into one governed, automated, trustworthy view of GCC performance.
Key responsibilities
- Define and document data governance principles, standards and definitions that apply consistently across Finance, P&C, Procurement and DS data sets.
- Establish a single, agreed definition for each core GCC metric so functions stop reporting different numbers for the same thing.
- Own data quality end to end: validation rules, exception handling, escalation paths and a visible quality scorecard.
- Ensure data handling complies with organisational security, privacy and access-control requirements across all connected systems.
- Act as the single point of coordination for data flowing from Finance, P&C, Procurement and DS into GCC-level reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with each function's system owners so data pipelines survive personnel and system changes.
- Reconcile differing data structures, cadences and taxonomies across source systems into one coherent reporting model.
- Flag and resolve data conflicts or gaps before they reach leadership reporting.
- Design, build and maintain a live, automated GCC performance dashboard that pulls directly from source systems with minimal manual intervention.
- Identify and remove manual, duplicated or error-prone steps in current reporting processes.
About you
- Proven experience building data governance frameworks and automated reporting across multiple, non-integrated systems.
- Strong hands‑on skills in data modelling, ETL/data pipeline logic, and BI tooling (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).

- Understanding of data architecture and system integration well enough to challenge and improve existing setups.
- Comfortable working across Finance, HR/P&C, Procurement and DS data sets and understanding the operational logic behind each.
- Experience operating in a matrixed, multi-stakeholder environment where you don't own the source systems you depend on.
- Track record of driving change and adoption in an environment with legacy processes and mixed appetite for standardisation.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Business or a related field.
- 8+ years' experience in data governance, business intelligence, or analytics roles, with at least 5 years spanning multiple business functions or systems.
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping an automated, self-updating dashboard or reporting tool used by leadership.
