The Qualifications We Seek
Professional Experience & Technical Skills
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, including previous experience in an administration role
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective time management and organizational skills
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong ability to listen, follow instructions, and seek assistance when required
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate with colleagues from Partner level through to Administrative Assistants
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team and meet strict deadlines
- Positive team-oriented attitude and can-do mindset
Adaptability & Work Management
- Willingness to learn, take on a wide variety of tasks, and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to work on Philippine holidays and follow an Australian work schedule
- Amenability to work daytime hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Your Daily Tasks
- Coordinate and prepare bank confirmation forms.
- Complete job collations, including printing and saving financial statements in PDF format and merging documents.
- Format Microsoft Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.
- Assist with the preparation of tender proposals.
- Complete job setup, including the preparation of year-end and engagement letters from provided templates and the setup of APS matters and projects.
- Update the APS database for new and lost clients.
- Prepare spreadsheets as requested.
- Prepare flyers for upcoming events as required.
- Open and close matters in APS.
- Assist Partners and Managers and follow their direction as required.
- Support the Administration team with general administrative duties.
- Prepare client bills in APS based on information provided by Partners and Managers.
- Prepare independence conflict checks.
- Maintain the independence conflict check register.
