Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills with the ability to prepare professional correspondence
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to follow processes, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities
- Eagerness to learn client administration, documentation, lodgement processes, and relevant business systems
- Knowledge of Xero or similar software and exposure to Australian accounting, GST, clients, or business practices are advantageous but not required
- Professional, service-focused approach with the ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly
Responsibilities
- Prepare and refine professional letters, emails, and other client or internal correspondence
- Maintain project records by organizing and uploading relevant documents and communications
- Support fee administration, including calculations, PDF compilation, Excel workpapers, and related documentation
- Coordinate meetings and prepare agendas, minutes, and supporting materials
- Facilitate ATO and BAS lodgements, including required approvals and authorization records
- Maintain accurate files and client information across iManage and APS, including client and matter setup, updates, and terminations
- Prepare trust resolutions and other required administrative documentation
- Assemble and process DocuSign and electronic document collations
- Provide general administrative support to ensure client, project, and team requirements are completed accurately and on time
