About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry / Support Specialist to support critical overnight operations for a fast-growing SaaS accounting automation platform.

In this role, you will focus on monitoring platform integrations, performing routine data entry, generating reports, and responding promptly to operational alerts. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured systems environment, follows documented processes diligently, and works well independently.

Role Summary

We are looking for a reliable Data Entry / Support Specialist to monitor activity, run reports, complete routine data entry tasks, and respond to operational alerts during overnight shifts. The right candidate is organized, precise, and comfortable following established processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration & Outage Monitoring: Monitor platform and delivery-service integrations during overnight hours.
• Alert Management: Review and respond to operational alerts regarding store outages, deactivations, or processing delays.
• Data Processing: Perform accurate data entry, update system records, and maintain data consistency.
• Reporting: Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports as required.
• Issue Resolution & Reactivation: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to resolve routine issues, reactivate stores, or execute simple workflow actions.
• Escalation: Identify and escape issues falling outside established guidelines with clear, detailed documentation.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with internal team members using team communication and task management tools, supporting continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Previous background in data entry, administrative support, back-office operations, or operations support.
• Process Discipline: Proven ability to follow structured workflows and SOPs with high accuracy.
• Autonomy: Comfortable working independently and maintaining focus during overnight shifts.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of spreadsheets, web-based systems, and standard business software.
• Communication: Clear written communication skills for documentation and team updates.
• Work Environment: A reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Operations Background: Experience in monitoring workflows, transaction processing, or operational support environments.
• Tool Familiarity: Hands-on experience with team collaboration tools (e.g., Slack) and reporting dashboards.
• Industry Exposure: Familiarity with SaaS, back-office tools, or transaction-heavy platforms is a plus.
