Job summary

• Curate, validate and maintain data quality standards across regional and global databases.
• Develop and maintain data models, pipelines and scripts that support analytics and reporting needs.
• Work with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, developers and architects to define requirements and shape scalable solutions.
• Carry out exploratory and statistical analysis to identify patterns, test assumptions and inform decision-making.
• Build and maintain analytical workflows from data ingestion through reporting and visualisation.
• Create reports, visualisations and documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, while maintaining security, integrity and business continuity controls.
• Develop algorithms to transform raw data into useful, actionable information.
• Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh RISK team at Marsh ASIA. This role will be based in Manila, Philippines. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh RISK works with stakeholders across the organisation to discover, define, design and deliver data solutions that drive business impact. As a Data Engineer Solution Specialist, you will help curate high-quality data assets, build scalable data and analytics solutions, and work with business and technology stakeholders to turn complex data into practical insights and recommendations.

What you need to have:

• Curate, validate and maintain data quality standards across regional and global databases
• Develop and maintain data models, pipelines and scripts that support analytics and reporting needs
• Work with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, developers and architects to define requirements and shape scalable solutions
• Carry out exploratory and statistical analysis to identify patterns, test assumptions and inform decision-making
• Build and maintain analytical workflows from data ingestion through reporting and visualisation
• Create reports, visualisations and documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, while maintaining security, integrity and business continuity controls
• Develop algorithms to transform raw data into useful, actionable information. This involves cleaning, processing, and converting data into a format that can be easily analyzed.
• Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures. This includes designing and implementing data pipelines that move data from source systems to data warehouses or data lakes.
