Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Data Center Technician L4 to join Data Center Operations. You will design, implement, and maintain Linux-based server infrastructures, monitor systems, and optimize performance while coordinating with networking teams and other engineers.

This role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning. You will work within a diverse team across AWS's global data centers, contributing to a secure and efficient data center environment and supporting 24/7

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or a related field.
Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
2+ years in data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based server infrastructures with a focus on reliability and scalability.
Perform comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
Configure and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and complex cabling systems.
Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technological integration.
