The Qualifications We Seek
- More than 3 years of experience in Finance Operations, data and systems analysis, or a similar role within a complex operational environment
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, particularly high-volume transactional environments such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payment Solutions
- Demonstrated experience translating business problems into clear process, data, reporting, or system requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar systems, with a focus on workflows, reporting, and data quality improvement
- Hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, and structuring, including database development, data modeling, and SQL
- Strong experience with APIs and systems integrations, including data flows across connected platforms
- Experience with BigQuery or Google Cloud Platform, or demonstrated transferable cloud data skills
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, data transformation, or automation
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting and data visualization tools
- Experience with process mapping or documentation tools, such as Miro, is beneficial
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, including data interrogation, metric definition, root‑cause analysis, business problem-solving, and actionable insight generation
- Experience partnering with technology or platform teams within established governance models, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Practical understanding of automation and AI use cases, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on simplifying manual processes while strengthening control and accuracy
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms is beneficial
Your Daily Tasks
- Partner with Finance Operations leaders and teams to translate business needs into clear system, data, reporting, and workflow requirements across core platforms
- Extract, transform, and structure data from core platforms and other sources to build reliable datasets and databases for reporting, analysis, and decision-making
- Work with APIs and system integrations to understand data flows, investigate issues, and support connected finance workflows
- Lead Finance Operations reporting and data requirements, including metric definitions, business rules, data quality expectations, and prioritized enhancement requests
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance Operations and the Finance Apps team or other enabling system teams for systems, reporting, workflows, and operational data
- Develop and improve reports and data visualizations through Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Improve Finance Operations data readiness through stronger data definitions, traceability, controls, documentation, and source-to-report consistency to support trusted and scalable reporting, automation, and AI use cases
- Analyze Finance Operations processes and data to identify practical opportunities for automation, improved reporting, and AI‑enabled solutions
- Work within established platform governance to raise, shape, and support enhancements that improve efficiency, control, data quality, and user experience
- Strengthen data quality, controls, and documentation practices to enable reliable reporting, automation, and AI use cases
- Support the adoption of delivered changes through documentation, test coordination, training, feedback loops, and change enablement
- Surface operational insights and data to guide Finance Operations decisions on process efficiency, service performance, and data quality
- Define clear, testable, and measurable Finance Operations requirements and ensure delivered changes address the intended business problem
