Job summary

2GO Group Inc. is seeking a hands-on technical leader to drive the end-to-end development of scalable data and platform solutions on AWS.

You’ll lead the BI infrastructure, automated dashboards, and internal apps for remittance, ensuring secure, reliable, and user-friendly data products that empower teams with trusted data and efficient workflows. You’ll mentor a team of customer and product engineers, collaborate with SM ITSS and 2GO IT, translate business requirements into technical roadmaps,

As a hands-on technical leader, you'll drive the end-to-end development of scalable data and platform solutions—from cloud architecture and clean data pipelines to system integrations and process automation applications. You'll ensure solutions are reliable, secure, user-friendly, and built on the right technology stack, empowering teams with trusted data, seamless workflows, and high-impact digital solutions that improve how the business operates.

Your mission..

• Work with the Data and Platform engineers and with the immediate head, to lead the end to end implementation, maintenance and optimization of the BI Infrastructure on AWS, that are particularly used for Data and Platform Engineering (DPE) applications, i.e. automated visualizations or dashboards, internal applications for remittance processes, workflow applications, etc.

• Provide architectural direction and implementation approval for application features and systems integration ensuring code quality, scalability, cost efficiency and security.

• Ensure a strong and collaborative dynamic with the dependent teams across SM ITSS, 2GO IT, external software vendors, primarily to ensure that technical design, architecture and security are governed, and continuously aligns to best in class standards.

• Partner closely with the internal customers' project management teams, Business Solutions Analysts, other technical teams to translate and support defined business requirements into technical specifications and executable implementation roadmaps.

• Ensure internal clients or Business Units' continuous adoption to highly reliable applications, standardizing and automating solutions that offer scale for their day to day processes and transforming current manual processes.

• Review and drive prioritization of Data and Platform Engineering (DPE) team projects with the internal clients and immediate head based on high contribution / impact with the lowest cost to implement.

• Serve as first escalation point of the team members and proactively escape to immediate head any risks/challenges to the progress of the projects.

• Serve as the technical escalation point for internal customer facing issues adhering to fast response and resolution times for critical issues and translating these pain points into engineering solutions that address immediate bugs and include feature enhancements.

• Ensure team's compliance to standards of cybersecurity and data privacy complementing the team's own processes and policies.

• Mentor and grow a team of customer and product engineers, fostering a team culture of high performance and impactful results.

• Strong communication skills to be able to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders in Business Units' departments across Sales, Operations and Corporate Shared Service
