2GO Group is seeking a Solution Delivery Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of technology solutions for Freight and Ship Management operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience managing, configuring, supporting, and enhancing Freight Management, Transport Management, Container/Shipping systems, or related enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end freight lifecycle: quoting, booking, routing, container management, documentation, POD.
• Experience with freight-related financial functionality: billing, multi-currency tariffs, accessorial charges, carrier reconciliation.
• Experience with systems integration using EDI standards (204, 214, 210), REST, SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of Freight and Ship Management applications across the full SDLC.
• Design scalable solutions and write clean, secure, maintainable code aligned with architecture and standards.
• Mentor developers through reviews, shadowing, and best practices.

As a Solution Delivery Manager , you will oversee application development, enhancement, and support—ensuring critical systems remain scalable, secure, reliable, and responsive to evolving business needs.

You will combine hands-on technical leadership with team management , mentoring developers and driving quality across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and application support.

Your mission..

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, deployment, and support of Freight and Ship Management applications across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Design scalable solutions and develop clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code aligned with approved architecture, requirements, and technology standards.
• Manage and mentor developers through task coordination, code and design reviews, shadow programming, technical learning sessions, and development best practices.
• Maintain and optimize existing applications, addressing performance, reliability, scalability, and production support requirements.
• Lead unit and integration testing, debugging, code reviews, and test automation , targeting appropriate validation coverage.
• Translate complex logistics and supply chain requirements into functional and technical designs in collaboration with business stakeholders, project leads, vendors, and technology teams.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, version control, release management, and technical documentation .
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and data privacy requirements , including encryption, access controls, secure storage, and protection of sensitive information.
• Manage multiple development and support priorities while balancing team capacity, delivery timelines, operational break-fix requirements, and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools and recommend solutions that improve system performance, maintainability, and team productivity.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field ; relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Have 5–8 years of experience managing, configuring, supporting, and enhancing Freight Management, Transport Management, Container/Shipping systems, or related enterprise applications .
• Bring strong knowledge of the end-to-end freight lifecycle , including quoting, booking, routing, container management, documentation, LCL/FCL, dispatching, and Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Have experience with freight-related financial functionality, including billing, multi-currency tariffs, accessorial charges, and carrier reconciliation .
• Are proficient in systems integration using EDI standards (e.g., 204, 214, 210), REST, SOAP, and related integration technologies .
• Have strong hands-on expertise in software architecture, system design, application development, testing, APIs, Git/version control, security, and data privacy .
• Have demonstrated experience in technical leadership, developer mentoring, resource planning, multi-project delivery, and stakeholder management .
• Can translate complex logistics and supply chain requirements into functional and technical architecture, designs, and working solutions .
• Have experience managing third-party technology vendors and SLAs .
• Experience with Softship is preferred but not required.
