Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a senior data professional to design and optimise end-to-end data pipelines, enhancing data integration, processing and analytics across the organisation.

You will lead data governance, architecture and cloud-based data platforms, collaborating with client data, technology and business teams to translate complex concepts into actionable business outcomes. This role demands strong communication, problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in data analytics, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics.
• Proven experience in data engineering and data analytics within large-scale organisations, preferably in financial services.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Dataiku, and Tableau.
• Expertise in data governance, regulatory compliance, and security standards in the financial sector.

• Deliver actionable insights through analytics and reporting tools, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
• Implement robust data visualisation frameworks to enhance data accessibility and usability.

Data Governance

• Enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, compliance, and regulatory alignment.
• Promote a culture of accountability and best practices around data usage and stewardship.

Solutions & Data Architecture

• Design, build and maintain scalable data architectures, enabling the seamless integration of new technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with the clients data, technology and business teams to ensure alignment between solutions and business needs.

Requirements
