Job summary

ISS STOXX is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Data Operations Team in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing financial data from verified sources. You will work with cross‑border teams and stakeholders to ensure high‑quality datasets and timely delivery.

The role involves daily data extraction, quality checks, and collaboration with global counterparts, with an onsite/hybrid path at Makati City in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably business courses. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a particular focus on Excel skills.
• Possess the ability to learn new technology concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; can thrive in a cross‑border / multi‑cultural work environment.
• Ability to adapt to performing various and changing tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work under pressure and a rigorous set of performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Extract data sets from different financial entities and sources based on established methodologies.
• Properly execute established work process and performance standards to ensure timely and high‑quality data.
• Identify deviations from expected data patterns, indicate errors and unusual data results of different financial data sets available to be reported to the research teams.
• Correct or accelerate data elements based on agreed policies and methodology.
• Participate in data quality assurance efforts, including performing root‑cause analysis for identified data quality issues.
• Prepare final data set for arrangement and ingestion to company databases via MS Access queries or the company’s proprietary software.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that data uploaded in the system is accurate and up to date.
• Refresh reports by using the data uploaded by the team to then be sent and used by business and stakeholders.
