Job summary

Qualifications

• College graduate in Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in container yard, logistics, port, trucking, or similar operations.
• Supervisory or team-leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of container handling and yard operations.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily CY operations and assigned personnel.
• Monitor container receiving, dispatch, loading, unloading, shifting, and storage.
• Ensure proper container positioning and accurate yard inventory.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, slingmen, drivers, and other yard personnel.
• Monitor equipment and manpower requirements for daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with yard safety rules, PPE requirements, and operating procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and provide work instructions to personnel.
• Inspect the yard and report unsafe conditions, damaged containers, and equipment concerns.
• Coordinate with customers, trucking companies, shipping lines, and other concerned parties.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports and incident reports.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, discipline, and work performance.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the container yard.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supervising daily container yard operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and organized movement, storage, loading, unloading, and handling of containers while managing personnel and coordinating with customers and operations teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily CY operations and assigned personnel.
• Monitor container receiving, dispatch, loading, unloading, shifting, and storage.
• Ensure proper container positioning and accurate yard inventory.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, slingmen, drivers, and other yard personnel.
• Monitor equipment and manpower requirements for daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with yard safety rules, PPE requirements, and operating procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and provide work instructions to personnel.
• Inspect the yard and report unsafe conditions, damaged containers, and equipment concerns.
• Coordinate with customers, trucking companies, shipping lines, and other concerned parties.

• Immediately report accidents, operational issues, and emergencies to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College graduate or vocational graduate in Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in container yard, logistics, port, trucking, or similar operations.
• Supervisory or team‑leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of container handling and yard operations.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor/container yard environment.
• Computer literate and able to prepare basic operational reports.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required.
