Job summary

PH Global Jet Express Inc. (J&T Express) seeks a procurement professional to manage local and international sourcing, supplier coordination, and import documentation ensuring timely delivery and compliance.

The role collaborates with freight forwarders and customs brokers, reviews bids and orders, and supports regional procurement teams to optimize costs while maintaining company policies. A bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field and import procurement experience are required;

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests based on inventory availability and operational needs.
• Review and process purchase orders with proper documentation and timely communication with suppliers and departments.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers, including China-based suppliers, on PO, shipment schedules, and updates.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
• Respond to inquiries regarding order status, changes, cancellations, and delivery concerns.
• Perform purchasing activities including sourcing, quotation review, supplier coordination, and order management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to expedite deliveries and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with regional procurement teams to align processes and requirements.
• Support import procurement by coordinating documentation and customs requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure policy compliance.

Responsible for managing procurement activities for both local and international purchases, including supplier coordination, purchase processing, import documentation, and logistics support. The role ensures timely sourcing and delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with company policies, customs requirements, and procurement procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Customs Administration, or related field.
• Experience in both local and import procurement operations.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and import procedures.
• Experience working with suppliers, customs brokers, customs agent and freight forwarders.
• At least 2-year relevant work experience in Procurement / Customs or similar field preferred.
• Preferably a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or with relevant customs clearance experience.
• Must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig City.
