Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration
  • Must be a Licensed Customs Broker
  • At least one year of experience in customs brokerage or related field is an advantage
  • Must have own motorcycle and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain brokerage entries to ensure accurate records and processing.
  • Review tariff classifications based on CMTA, AHTN, and BOC rules.
  • Verify accuracy of declared classifications and documents before processing entries.
  • Follow up on pending customs assessments with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Track assessments from submission to final clearance and update logs and reports.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to complete pending requirements and resolve delays.
  • Ensure all customs documents are complete and properly filled and compliant.
  • Prepare and submit regular status reports on brokerage transactions.

Job description

The Brokerage Representative is responsible for monitoring brokerage entries, reviewing tariff classifications, coordinating with internal teams and concerned parties to ensure the timely processing of customs assessments, and tracking the completion of all required documentation. The role ensures accurate record-keeping, compliance with customs laws and regulations, and the timely follow-up of pending assessments to facilitate the efficient clearance of shipments.

Job Description:
  • Monitor and maintain brokerage entries to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
  • Review and determine the appropriate tariff classification of imported goods based on the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA), the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN), and applicable Bureau of Customs (BOC) rules and regulations.
  • Verify the accuracy of declared tariff classifications and supporting import documents prior to processing customs entries.
  • Follow up with the appropriate departments or concerned personnel regarding the status of pending customs assessments.
  • Track customs assessments from submission until final assessment and clearance.
  • Update monitoring logs, reports, and trackers with accurate and timely information.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the completion of pending requirements.
  • Escalate delayed or unresolved assessments to the immediate supervisor or management when necessary.
  • Ensure all required customs documents are complete, accurate, and properly filled.
  • Prepare and submit regular status reports on pending, ongoing, and completed brokerage transactions.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding the status of brokerage entries and customs assessments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, shipment, and company information.
  • Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the brokerage process.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
Qualifications: (preferrably Male)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration
  • Must be a Licensed Customs Broker
  • At least one (1) year of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, freight forwarding, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Must have an own motorcycle and valid driver’s license
  • Fresh graduates who are Licensed Customs Brokers are encouraged to apply.
Skill Set:
  • Thorough knowledge of Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA), Bureau of Customs (BOC) regulations, customs procedures, and tariff classification.
  • Strong understanding of import and export documentation and customs clearance processes.
Working Conditions:
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Work or updates may be provided at any time, depending on operational requirements.
