MicroSourcing in Ortigas, Pasig City is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Travel & Sales to join our Sydney-based travel sales team. You will handle inquiries, quotes, and bookings for Croatia, the Balkans, Greece, Scandinavia, and India markets.

You'll collaborate with suppliers and operate the Tour-Plan system to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering high-quality customer service and hitting sales targets. This role offers hybrid work and mid-shift schedules.

Job Summary

This is travel sales & customer support role working with our Sydney based retail travel sales team in the day to day management of travel bookings primarily to Croatia, Slovenia & The Balkans Greece, Italy, Scandinavia as well as India & Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries received via web forms, email and Live Chat (log in to live chat) providing the highest quality customer service
• Initiating client quotes and booking requests in the Tour-Plan reservations system
• Implementing the booking process with DMC's (local suppliers) and operators such as:
• Booking hotel rooms through multiple B2B (online) systems
• Building itineraries and sending supplier requests through the Tour-Plan reservations system or emailing booking requests to suppliers
• Manage supplier responses to finalise quotes and booking requests
• Create, check and finalise quotes and bookings to be sent to clients
• Convert quotes to confirmed bookings (sales) through client updates, support and follow up (Converting leads to confirmed bookings)
• Manage clients bookings throughout all stages; from quote through to sales, documentation and after travel follow up.
• Check supplier rates quoted match contracted rates
• Manage both supplier and client payments to meet deadlines
• Checking service details confirmed by the supplier match those requested and the booking is order
• Follow up/reminders on outstanding deposits and payments
• Additional administrative duties as requested from time to time

Qualifications

Required

• Previous experience in the travel industry.
• Experience using a travel reservation system (non-airline reservation systems preferred).
• Strong understanding of travel sales, reservations, and booking processes.

Preferred

• Experience using the TOUR-PLAN reservation system.
• Formal qualification in Travel and Tourism.
• Previous experience selling travel to Croatia, the Balkans, Greece, Scandinavia, India, or Sri Lanka.
• Candidates with proven travel sales experience in these destinations may be considered even without a formal travel qualification.

• Knowledge of or interest in Croatia & the Balkans, Greece, Scandinavia, India, and Sri Lanka is an advantage.
