Join a growing healthcare collections and revenue support company that manages patient and facility collections for third-party service providers, including transportation and other healthcare-related services. In this role, you'll handle accounts receivable, data entry, account research, and collections to determine the appropriate patient or facility responsibility and help providers get paid accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
- Review patient and facility accounts, verify demographic and billing information, and identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent details.
- Use sound judgment and available resources to correct account information and determine whether the patient, facility, or a combination of both is responsible for the balance.
- Prepare, upload, organize, and send invoices and related payment documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding patient balances by phone - both inbound and outbound - text, and email, clearly explain what is owed, and confidently guide patients toward payment.
- Follow up with nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospices, hospitals, and other organizations when the facility is responsible for all or part of the payment.
- Identify accounts involving secondary insurance and route them back to the provider's regular billing department for insurance billing.
- Keep accounts moving by determining the appropriate next step when information is incomplete, payment responsibility is unclear, or details do not match.
- Meet productivity goals while maintaining accurate account records and documenting when an account cannot move forward.

Be an integral part of a growing healthcare revenue support team that manages patient and facility collections on behalf of third-party service providers. You'll communicate directly with patients, nursing homes, hospitals, hospices, assisted living facilities, and other responsible organizations while independently managing account research, accounts receivable follow-up, data entry, and payment communication.
