Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc in the Philippines is seeking an experienced quality professional to lead cross-functional teams in resolving customer quality incidents using the 8D process. You will coordinate failure analyses, drive root-cause investigations, and implement CAPAs across ISO-aligned operations.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 4+ years in semiconductor QA/Reliability, strong leadership, English communication, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electronics or Electrical preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in semiconductor manufacturing with QA/Reliability/Failure Analysis experience.
• Experience with ISO standards; Automotive standards knowledge and Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review information for submitted customer quality incidents and provide disposition.
• Assemble and lead cross-functional teams using the 8D problem-solving process.
• Coordinate requests for failure analysis and root-cause investigation with relevant groups.
• Ensure risk assessment and action plans to contain, correct and prevent incidents.
• Update the customer incident management database and ensure data integrity.
• Generate reports and updates for customers up to incident closure.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions on schedule.
• Analyze data to drive systemic quality improvements and incident management.
