Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a qualified QA professional to review customer quality incidents and lead cross-functional teams through the 8D problem solving process. You will coordinate failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions to ensure proactive quality improvements across production stages.

The role requires strong English communication, knowledge of semiconductor quality systems, and the ability to drive sustained action plans with data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years in a semiconductor manufacturing environment (Quality/Reliability, Failure Analysis, Product/Process Engineering).
• Knowledge of ISO, Automotive standards; Six-sigma knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review information collected for submitted customer quality incidents and provide disposition.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve incidents via the 8D process.
• Coordinate requests for failure analysis and corrective actions with relevant groups.
