Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering professional to maintain the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement.

You will resolve customer and internal quality issues, manage non-conforming materials, and support audits across the supply chain. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, experience in manufacturing environments, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Knowledge of QMS, CAPA, root cause analysis, and data analysis.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Drive timely resolution of customer complaints and quality concerns.
• Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to resolve internal quality issues and RMAs.
• Review, disposition, and ensure proper containment of non-conforming materials and products.
• Monitor supplier corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
• Maintain and update quality procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
• Analyze quality performance data and prepare quality reports.
• Review failure analysis results and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support customer, supplier, and internal audits.
• Lead quality and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process performance.
