Fleet Management Services Philippines, Inc in Manila is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the Container and Tanker Crewing Department. You will coordinate with head office and vessels, schedule interviews, verify documents, and support crew changes to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates graduate in Maritime Studies with crewing experience, strong communication, planning, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Head Office and other Manning Offices re Crewing matters.
• Communicates with vessels (All Containers and Tankers).
• Receives advice re vessel requirement for Engine Department (All Containers and Tankers).
• Contacts candidates by phone and/or by other means.
• Conducts general interview with ex-crews and/or new applicants.
• Schedules them for further interview, and if necessary, informs Hongkong Office for their (new applicants) further interview.
• Prepares and replies to messages.
• Proposes candidates (Officers and crew) to HK Office and other Manning Offices.
• Verifies the authenticity of data in the application form (Document verification).
• Receives calls from ships' personnel re crew change inquiries, updates and gives advice in handling emergencies.

Generally responsible for the over-all operations of the Container and Tanker Crewing Department

• Communicates with Head Office and other FML Manning Offices re Crewing matters
• Communicates with vessels (All Containers and Tankers).
• Receives advice re vessel requirement for Engine Department (All Containers and Tankers).
• Contacts candidates by phone and/or by other means.
• Conducts general interview with ex-crews and/or new applicants.
• Schedules them for further interview, and if necessary, call and inform Hongkong Office for their (new applicants) further interview.
• Prepares and replies to messages.
• Proposes candidates (Officers and crew) to HK Office and other FML Manning Offices.
• Verifies the authenticity of data in the application form (Document verification)
• Receives calls from ships' personnel re crew change inquiries, updates and gives advices in handling some emergency situations.
