The role focuses on overseeing the Container and Tanker Crewing Department operations, coordinating with offices and vessels, interviewing candidates, verifying data, and supporting crew-change inquiries to ensure smooth manning for ships.

• Preferably graduate of Maritime Studies with crewing department experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Head Office and Manning Offices on crewing matters.
• Communicates with vessels (All Containers and Tankers).
• Receives advice re vessel requirement for Engine Department (All Containers and Tankers).
• Contacts candidates by phone and/or by other means.
• Conducts general interview with ex-crews and/or new applicants.
• Schedules them for further interview, and if necessary, call and inform Hongkong Office for their (new applicants) further interview.
• Prepares and replies to messages.
• Proposes candidates (Officers and crew) to HK Office and other FML Manning Offices.
• Verifies the authenticity of data in the application form (Document verification)
• Receives calls from ships' personnel re crew change inquiries, updates and gives advices in handling some emergency situations.
