Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking a Credit Portfolio Review professional to evaluate account status on post-approval sampling, assessing repayment capacity, and ensuring adherence to policies to prevent deterioration.

You will validate risk ratings, ensure data is captured in the Credit Review Sheet, monitor portfolio review activities, and prepare the Credit Portfolio Review Report after each engagement. On-site work at Makati or Ortigas is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year business course.
• At least 5 years of experience in credit origination, account management, remedial management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the status of accounts on post-approval sampling for repayment capacity.
• Validate risk rating/credit scorecards and report discrepancies for correction.
• Ensure all data and reports are encoded in the Credit Review Sheet for each account.
• Monitor portfolio review assignments and ensure all necessary loan documents are available.
• Prepare the Credit Portfolio Review Report after every review engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time

Job Summary

The position is primarily responsible for evaluating the status of accounts on post approval, sampling basis in terms of repayment capacities, condition to allow management to take prompt corrective action and prevent further deterioration of the accounts and assessing the unit's compliance to policies and procedures by citing lapses, exceptions, violations and other potential problems before the safety and soundness of the loan portfolio becomes a serious issue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the portfolio quality of the borrowers via classification of accounts based on internal guidelines

• Validate the risk rating/credit scorecards performed by Account Officers during portfolio reviews and report discrepancies and/or errors in rating, if any, for eventual correction

• Ensure that all data, information required for clearing, report preparation are encoded/presented in the Credit Review Sheet of each account

• Monitor assignment in actual portfolio review of a lending unit which includes ensuring all credit folders, other loan related documents are available

• Prepare the Credit Portfolio Review Report after every review engagement

• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
