Job summary

Metrobank in the Philippines invites applications for the Appraiser, Credit Investigation & Appraisal Department - Consumer. The role ensures credit worthiness of loan applicants by verifying information and reviewing documents with private and government agencies.

You will evaluate collateral for loans, dacion, foreclosure or sale of bank assets; ensure appraisal locations align with policy; and produce reports that meet turnaround time and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering or any course with Economics background.
• At least 1 year experience as a CI/Appraiser in a bank or appraisal firm.
• Licensed Real Estate Appraiser is an advantage.
• Good analytical, communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• The role is responsible in ensuring the credit worthiness of existing and prospective loan applicants through verification of information and checking of various documents with the different private and government agencies.
• The role is responsible for the evaluation of collateral being offered to the bank to secure a loan, dacion, foreclosure or for possible sale of a bank property or acquired asset. The role also ensures that appraisals are within the prescribed TAT and the quality of reports is within the acceptable standards.
