Job summary

Metrobank is seeking an Appraiser in the Consumer Credit Investigation & Appraisal Department to assess loan applicants' creditworthiness by verifying information and documents with private and government agencies.

The role evaluates collateral offered to secure loans, including dacion/foreclosure or sale of bank properties, ensures correct property location, aligns with policy, and guarantees reports meet turnaround and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience as a CI/Appraiser in a bank or appraisal firm.
• Graduate of Engineering or Economics background.
• Good analytical, communication and written skills.
• Licensed Real Estate Appraiser is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure creditworthiness of existing and prospective loan applicants via verification of information and documents with agencies.
• Evaluate collateral offered to secure a loan, dacion, foreclosure, or sale of bank property; verify location and policy compliance; ensure reports meet standards.
