Job summary

SB Finance is seeking a Credit Decision Head to lead the Credit Decision Team, overseeing daily operations, ensuring business continuity and adherence to underwriting guidelines across consumer lending products.

You will drive process improvements, monitor performance, and coordinate with auditors while developing training initiatives to keep staff up to date and skilled in risk assessment and decision making.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in credit or lending operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management/Commerce/Finance or related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of end-to-end consumer lending credit process.
• Leadership and training capabilities.
• MIS and data analysis experience.
• Underwriting skills and risk awareness.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages Credit Officers and the Credit Investigation Team.
• Reviews, assesses, and renders decision on Credit Evaluation and Credit Investigation concerns and provides necessary resolutions and/or action plans.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures using the operations manual and underwriting guidelines to control risk.
• Manages and responds to all compliance and audit related activities in coordination with other units.
• Creates initiatives to help upskilling of personnel to ensure they are updated and equipped with all trainings.
• Monitors productivity, service delivery and quality of work to achieve target.
• Proactively identify, plan, and implement initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
• Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
