Metrobank is seeking a Credit Portfolio Manager to oversee effective risk management across loan portfolios, coordinating with Lending Units and various departments to ensure sound credit decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics and at least five years of credit experience, with strong analytical and leadership skills to mentor the team and deliver timely, compliant loan reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• At least5 years of credit experience, preferably in commercial and corporate lending.
• Strong knowledge ofcredit analysis, risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, and credit risk rating systems.
• Familiarity withregulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and internal credit policies.
• Provenpeople management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethic.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review loan proposals and assess credit risk for borrowers.
• Ensure timely renewal evaluations and thorough risk assessments.
• Assess risk ratings and ensure compliance with bank policies.
• Coordinate with Lending Units and departments to secure approvals and proper documentation.
• Monitor portfolio performance and escalate non-performing loans.
• Support talent development and career progression within the team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
