Pion is seeking a driven Credit Controller to join our remote finance team in the Philippines. You will own a personal ledger within the team's cash collection targets, chase overdue invoices, and ensure accurate billing and payment schedules.

You will keep Sage Intacct up to date, resolve payment issues, and collaborate with finance, sales and third-party processors to keep cash moving smoothly. Experience in high-volume invoicing and strong relationship-building are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own a personal ledger within the team's shared cash collection target, proactively chasing invoices rather than just following process from very old, overdue accounts to invoices due for the first time.
• Contact customers and their payment partners to confirm invoices have been received and scheduled for payment, chasing consistently in the run-up to and past the due date.
• Keep Sage fully up to date so the team always has an accurate picture of progress across the ledger.
• Solve problems as they come up by reissuing invoices, tracking down supporting contracts, requesting POs, and running claims through payment portals.
• Build strong working relationships across finance, sales, and with customers and third-party payment processors to keep cash moving as efficiently as possible.

Requirements

• Experience as a credit controller in a high-volume environment (think hundreds of invoices and customers on the go at once), motivated by hitting cash collection targets.
• A tenacious, resourceful approach to problem solving - you find a way to get things done, whatever the barriers, rather than giving up on a tricky account.
• Strong relationship-building skills across different stakeholders, from finance and sales through to customers and third parties.
• A logical, detail-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload efficiently.
• Confidence working with systems to track and manage data (Sage Intacct experience, or exposure to affiliate networks in media/advertising, is a bonus).
