Job summary

RELX in Manila is seeking a Credit & Collections specialist to manage debt collection, debtor reporting, and regular liaison with sales and finance teams. You will coordinate show-related collection plans and participate in pre/post-show meetings to ensure timely payments.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with international credit control and multiple currencies, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year of experience in Credit & Collections
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Knowledgeable in MS Excel (AutoSum, VLOOKUP, Pivot)
• Preferably experience in Shared Services
• Willing to work on rotational shift and hybrid work setup
• Keen attention to detail
• Experience with international credit control and different currencies
• Strong communication and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders
• Good time management and organization to prioritize deadlines
• Ability to learn and apply enterprise AI tools for workflows

Responsibilities

• Telephone chasing of past and future debts on designated accounts.
• Ensure follow up calls and collection plan dates are diarized.
• Issuing statements, invoices, and account reconciliation on designated accounts as required.
• Chasing debts by email and phone calls.
• Produce aged debtors and onsite report across designated shows as scheduled.
• Liaise with sales and wider finance teams to keep them informed on debt collection.
• Arrange and attend team pre- and post-show meetings 3 months prior to show opening.
• Produce and distribute Show Collection Plan to teams.
• Ensure credit control policy procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure VOTs are supplied where necessary.
• Ensure IT knowledge is sufficient; competent at using Excel and Word; Oracle user preferred.
