Position Overview

The Credit and Collections Head is responsible for overseeing the company’s credit granting process, collection activities, and accounts receivable management. The role ensures effective credit risk assessment, timely collection of receivables, and implementation of policies to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize credit risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor credit and collection policies and procedures
• Evaluate credit applications and assess customer creditworthiness
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
• Coordinate with sales and finance teams regarding credit limits and payment issues
• Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debts
• Lead negotiations for payment arrangements with delinquent accounts
• Prepare regular credit and collection reports for management review
• Analyze credit risks and recommend appropriate action plans
• Supervise and guide the credit and collections team
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related course
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or with relevant certifications
• With at least 3–5 years experience in credit and collections, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management and accounts receivable processes
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Highly analytical with strong decision-making ability
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
• Willing to be assigned in Guiguinto, Bulacan
