Job summary

Chevron is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Makati, Philippines to support upstream general accounting, inventory, receivable processes, accruals, and MEC. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting within a collaborative environment.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, data analytics initiatives, and cross-team coordination while applying SAP/JDE expertise and strong communication skills. A degree in Accounting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Strong communication, both written and spoken, with ability to coordinate with various contacts.
• Analytical skills to interpret documents and resolve variances.
• Technical knowledge to process, manage, and present data using MS Excel and related tools.
• Proactive, results-oriented, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• General accounting for upstream business activities.
• Inventory and materials & supplies accounting.
• Accounts receivable processes and related reporting.
• Month-end close, accruals, and allocations.
• Reconciliations for monthly and quarterly periods.
• Statutory audit and reporting.
• FX rate management in JDE.
• Support projects in RPA and data analytics; pursue continuous improvements.
• Coordinate team projects across IUAS-wide initiatives.
• Perform general administrative tasks and maintain documentation.
