Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking a Credit Analyst to process small business loan applications and renewals. The role involves prescreening, document gathering, and verifications to support credit proposals.

Fresh graduates are welcome and will receive training. Strong knowledge of credit concepts, regulatory standards, and MS Office is required to ensure compliant credit decisions within a collaborative evaluation process.

Job description

The Credit Analyst is primarily responsible in processing small business loan applications and renewal of credit lines which involve prescreening, office file checking or internal checking, telephone verifications (residence, business/employment verification, trade references verification), results of which are provided to the Evaluation Unit, as reference and basis in the recommendation of a credit proposal.

Responsibilities:

• Requests checkings with various departments (Appraisal, Bank Checking, Trade Checkings, etc.)
• Prepares documents needed to implement credit facilities
• Gathers necessary information/documents for credit evaluation
• Assists in reportorial requirements

Qualifications:

• Must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Finance/Accountancy/Banking equivalent
