The Credit Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Broker by managing the 'top of funnel' business activities, including lead management, nurturing customer relationships, and guiding applications from initial inquiry through to lodgement and settlement. This role combines administrative precision, client service excellence, and thorough research to ensure a streamlined and effective lending process.

Job Description

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for lead management, customer service, and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead Management & CRM Administration: Receive, input, and track leads in the MyCRM platform, maintain and update the leads pipeline, and help manage broker tasks and track customer follow-ups.
• Customer Service & Communication: Provide ongoing updates to customers throughout the loan process, liaise with lenders, and handle queries from customers.
• Additional Credit Analyst Tasks: Monitor and manage customer reviews, feedback, and inquiries, assist in administrative duties, file management, and record keeping, and support the Finance Broker in preparing for client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in banking, mortgage broking, lending, or a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to understand simple and complex self-employed customer documentation including Tax Returns & business financials.
• Strong knowledge of lending servicing, products and lender policies.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, fostering open communication, collaboration, and support across roles.
• Proficiency in MyCRM, lender portals, and Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite.
