MicroSourcing is seeking a Credit Analyst for our Finance Department in Eastwood, Quezon City. This hybrid, day-shift role focuses on payment allocation of accounts receivable in a fast-paced setting.

Reporting to the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, you will ensure accurate recording of payments and support month-end activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and accounting foundations, excel in accuracy, and collaborate well with internal teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Allocate and reconcile customer payments to invoices in the accounting system.
• Review remittance advice, payment amounts, and customer data.
• Resolve discrepancies and unapplied payments with customers or internal teams.
• Maintain records of allocations and adjustments.
• Generate reports on payment allocation status.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards during allocation and reconciliation.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing for accounts receivable.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle ad hoc projects and manage Dropbox/email distribution.

Your Role

We are currently seeking Credit Analyst with a positive attitude to join our friendly and dynamic Finance Department. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for payment allocation of accounts receivable in a high volume and fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Extracting bank statement and allocating incoming customer payments accurately to the corresponding invoices or accounts in the accounting system to ensure that payments are properly recorded and reflected.


• Review and verify payment details such as remittance advice, payment amounts, and customer information.


• Resolve discrepancies or unapplied payments by investigating and communicating with customers or internal teams.


• Maintain accurate records of all payment allocations and adjustments.


• Generate regular reports on payment allocation status and unapplied cash


• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during allocation and reconciliation.


• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.


• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payment allocation.


• Ad hoc projects as require


• Managing Dropbox on regular basis and distribution of e-mails to relevant team members
