We Are Hiring: Accounting Manager

At Cleanfuel, we are looking for an Accounting/Audit Manager to join our dynamic team! As an integral part of our company, you’ll work directly with the President & VP to ensure financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to our growth, shape our financial strategies, and drive success through impactful decision-making.

Your Role:

• Lead the analysis and reconciliation of accounts, and oversee the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Manage the financial statement preparation and the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate recording of costs and reviewing journal entries, account balances, reconciliations, and reports.
• Participate in the ongoing improvement of our accounting systems and procedures, including the implementation of ERP software, transitioning to SAP or NetSuite.
• Collaborate with the Audit, Tax, and Treasury departments to ensure effective coordination of all financial accounting activities.
• Lead internal and external audit activities, including preparing schedules, addressing inquiries, and resolving audit findings efficiently.

What You Bring to the Table:

• CPA Certification with at least 5 years of professional experience in accounting and finance.
• Expertise in process improvements, accuracy, and timely financial reporting.
• Strong leadership capabilities and a proactive approach in managing complex accounting functions.
• Solid background in audit coordination and experience in managing both internal and external audits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset to work in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP software, and SAP.
