Job summary

Cleanfuel is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager focused on importation. You will oversee accounting operations, manage importation transactions, and monitor related costs to ensure accurate inventory costing and reporting.

Lead the monthly close, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with Importation and Procurement teams in Pasig City. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in importation or cost accounting, strong technical accounting skills, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in importation, trading, manufacturing, or cost accounting.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• Hands-on experience in importation-related accounting, inventory accounting, or cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, inventory costing, and general accounting operations.
• Familiarity with import-related costs such as freight, duties, taxes, brokerage, and other landed costs.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and recording of importation-related transactions.
• Monitor importation-related costs including purchase costs, freight, duties, taxes, and other charges.
• Ensure proper recording and allocation of importation costs for inventory costing and reporting.
• Reconcile import-related accounts, supplier balances, and inventory records.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger balances for accuracy.
• Lead monthly close and provide financial statements and analyses.
• Support external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulations.
• Coach and develop the accounting team.
