Job summary

GrowSari in Makati is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee the accurate and timely accounting of the company's inventory, expenses and accruals, as well as fixed assets and RO U assets. The role serves as a PIC in external audit engagements and will work closely with Ops to strengthen internal controls and reporting under PFRS.

You will lead month-end close activities, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process

Qualifications

CPA is required for eligibility.
5-6 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in fintech and Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Proactive ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end close activities, including account analysis, variance review, and preparation of supporting schedules for relevant accounts.
Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations for assigned accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting processes properly support business operations, and support internal and external audit requirements for these accounts.
Lead the timely closure of external audit engagements.
Identify and drive process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Perform ad-hoc activities and projects as needed.
