About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Courier/Motorized Rider to join our dynamic logistics team. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Courier/Motorized Rider, you will be the crucial link between our company and our customers, ensuring that parcels and documents are delivered safely, efficiently and on time. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the couriers, drivers and postal services industry, and directly impacts customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key responsibilities

1. Collect, sort and deliver parcels and documents to designated addresses within assigned routes in a timely and professional manner

2. Operate a motorized vehicle (motorcycle/scooter) safely and maintain it in good working condition, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

3. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures from recipients and updating delivery status in the system

4. Handle packages with care and ensure they arrive in excellent condition, protecting them from damage throughout the delivery process

5. Communicate effectively with customers, providing them with delivery updates and resolving any concerns or queries promptly

6. Plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure efficient time management and reduced fuel consumption

7. Report any incidents, accidents or damaged packages to management immediately

8. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times, representing ABest Express Inc. positively to customers

9. Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues that require repair

What we're looking for

1. A valid motorcycle or scooter driver's license with a clean driving record

2. Proven experience as a courier, rider or in a similar delivery role within the logistics or postal services industry

3. Strong knowledge of Quezon City Metro Manila's geography, traffic patterns and main routes

4. Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet daily delivery targets

5. Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role, including loading and unloading packages

6. A reliable and well-maintained motorized vehicle suitable for courier work

7. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

8. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions whilst maintaining safety standards

9. Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings or evenings as required

10. Familiarity with delivery management systems and mobile applications is preferred
