About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Courier / Motorized Rider to join our dynamic logistics team. This is a full-time position based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. As a Courier / Motorized Rider, you will play a crucial role in our delivery operations, ensuring that parcels and documents reach their destinations safely, efficiently and on time. Your contribution is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction in the couriers, drivers and postal services sector.

What you'll be doing

1. Collecting and delivering parcels, packages and documents to customers within your designated routes and service areas

2. Operating a motorized vehicle (motorcycle or scooter) in compliance with all traffic regulations and safety guidelines

3. Recording delivery information, obtaining signatures and maintaining accurate delivery records

4. Managing multiple deliveries efficiently to meet daily targets and service level agreements

5. Providing excellent customer service, answering enquiries and resolving delivery-related issues professionally

6. Ensuring all packages are handled with care and delivered in good condition

7. Performing routine vehicle maintenance checks and reporting mechanical issues promptly

8. Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols whilst on duty

9. Communicating effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any challenges encountered

What we're looking for

1. Valid driver's licence (appropriate for operating motorized vehicles) with a clean driving record

2. Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver or in a similar role within the logistics or postal services industry

3. Excellent knowledge of local routes and geography in Santa Rosa City, Laguna and surrounding areas

4. Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple deliveries

5. Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines

6. Professional communication skills and a customer-centric approach

7. Physical fitness to lift, carry and handle packages

8. Ability to work independently whilst adhering to company guidelines and procedures

9. Basic numeracy skills and competency with handheld delivery tracking devices or mobile applications

10. Flexibility to work varying shift patterns and occasional extended hours to meet business demands

11. Preferably with experience using GPS navigation systems and digital delivery management platforms
