About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Courier / Motorized Rider to join our team in Naga City, Camarines Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our logistics and delivery operations. As a Courier / Motorized Rider, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of parcels and documents to our customers across the region. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for dependable service and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Collecting and delivering parcels, documents and packages to designated addresses within assigned routes
• Operating and maintaining a motorised vehicle (motorcycle or similar) in safe and roadworthy condition
• Recording delivery details, obtaining customer signatures and managing delivery documentation accurately
• Planning efficient routes to maximise deliveries whilst minimising fuel consumption and travel time
• Communicating with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues or delays
• Ensuring packages are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition
• Complying with all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies whilst on duty
• Reporting any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents or delivery problems to management promptly
• Assisting with sorting and organising parcels at the distribution centre as needed
• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour when interacting with customers

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's license appropriate for operating a motorised vehicle in the Philippines
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in courier, delivery or similar logistics roles
• Strong knowledge of local roads and geography in Naga City and surrounding areas
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight delivery schedules
• A clean driving record and commitment to road safety and compliance with traffic regulations
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry parcels of varying weights
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with a customer-focused approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills for recording deliveries and managing documentation
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings when required
• Preferred: familiarity with delivery tracking systems and mobile applications
• Preferred: experience with parcels requiring signature confirmation or special handling
