You will handle routes, perform basic vehicle checks, maintain delivery records, and support warehouse operations during peak times. Local knowledge and a clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid IP or professional driving license for motorised vehicles in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels within the Cagayan de Oro area in a timely, professional manner.

About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a reliable and energetic Courier/Motorized Rider to join our team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our operations, ensuring that packages and parcels are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers throughout the region. As a Courier/Motorized Rider, you will be the face of ABest Express Inc., responsible for maintaining our reputation for prompt and professional service. This role requires someone who is committed to customer satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

1. Collecting and delivering parcels and packages to designated locations within the Cagayan de Oro area in a timely and professional manner


2. Operating a motorised vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols


3. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, timestamps and any relevant delivery notes


4. Communicating with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues


5. Performing basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues or damage


6. Sorting and organising parcels before each delivery round to optimise route efficiency


7. Handling packages with care to ensure items arrive in perfect condition


8. Meeting daily and weekly delivery targets whilst maintaining quality standards


9. Supporting team members during peak delivery periods and assisting with warehouse operations as required

What we're looking for

1. A valid driver's licence for operating motorised vehicles in the Philippines


2. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in courier delivery, logistics or a similar field


3. Strong knowledge of Cagayan de Oro road networks and local geography, or willingness to learn


4. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently


5. Exceptional customer service skills and a professional, courteous attitude


6. Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of daily delivery operations


7. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to attendance


8. Basic literacy and numeracy skills to handle delivery documentation and records


9. A clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices


10. Ability to work independently whilst remaining part of a collaborative team


11. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery tracking applications
