Country Manager – Responsibilities
- Co‑develop and execute the sales plan for the assigned area in accordance with the set objectives and targets, ensuring the sales plan is realized and sales targets are achieved.
- Acquire new customers and expand the existing customer base proactively through direct visits, phone calls, references, and other appropriate means to grow the customer base and achieve sales targets.
- Build trust with new and existing customers by identifying their needs, providing advice and effective solutions to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty and to generate additional revenues and/or profitability.
- Make commercial decisions on committing future resources to developing opportunities within specific accounts.
- Ask questions to uncover implicit and explicit customer needs and demonstrate how the company's products and services match those needs (Benefit Statements).
- Receive, follow up on, and resolve customer complaints or queries in a timely and efficient manner, in close cooperation with Sales and Customer Services, to satisfy customer expectations and ensure retention.
- Coordinate, execute, maintain, and improve sales administration processes and systems in line with applicable procedures to ensure efficient and effective sales administration compliant with policies and regulations.
- Record the outcome of sales calls and plan future actions that move the sale toward a successful conclusion, including additional needs investigation where necessary.
- Provide management with insights on quantitative and qualitative developments within the sales area, ensuring all information is stored and updated to support timely decision‑making.
- Maintain and build product and technical knowledge in relevant product categories by participating in local and global technical trainings, and prepare and quote customers based on marketing and pricing inputs.
- Participate in various sales and customer service‑related projects in your area and contribute to project results.
