Job summary

A construction company in Cebu City is seeking a professional to handle cost estimation and ensure accuracy in all materials and labor costs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Architecture and ideally possess 2 years of relevant experience. Immediate start is preferred. This role involves maintaining records of costs and updating contract rates for third-party contractors.

Job description

• Handles review, checking and revision of in-house cost estimates initially prepared by Project/Area Engineers
• Ensures accuracy in estimation of all materials, labor and other costs
• Updates in-house cost unit rates by area (VisMin) based on market
• Updates contract rates for third party contractors
• Recommends revised in-house cost estimates to the Engineering Head for approval
• Maintains records of estimated and actual costs
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
