Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of cost accounting, inventory accounting, or general accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution, or similar industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of costing methods, inventory management, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze product, production, and operational costs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate cost records and reports.
• Conduct inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Analyze variances between actual costs and budgeted or standard costs.
• Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with operations, purchasing, warehouse, and accounting departments regarding cost-related concerns.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and cost accounting records.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.
