Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a cost accounting professional to maintain cost records, analyze manufacturing costs, and prepare variance reports. The role will also support tax compliance, inventory controls, and the month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy with CPA certification, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. Collaboration with multiple departments is essential for successful results.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is required.
• Experience in General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Accounting, or Inventory Accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, cost variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Philippine taxation and BIR requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP or computerized accounting systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and maintain accurate cost and expense records.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare variance reports.
• Prepare reports on raw materials, importation costs, taxes, and related expenses.
• Conduct profit margin analysis and cost forecasting.
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate inventory counts and monitor inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate and recommend inventory adjustments.
• Support accounting system implementation and BIR compliance requirements.
• Assist in internal, external, and BIR audits.
• Prepare and file applicable tax returns.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with different departments for accurate financial reporting.
