Job summary

LTHFood Industries Inc. is seeking a Cost Accountant to analyze manufacturing costs, monitor variances, and maintain accurate inventory valuation in collaboration with warehouse and production teams.

The role also supports monthly close, cost standards, budgeting, and ERP costing modules, delivering reports to management for informed decisions and driving cost efficiency. A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance is required, with at least 3 years in FMCG/manufacturing cost accounting; CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standards, and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Monitor and analyze cost variances (material, labor, and overhead) and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation in coordination with warehouse and production departments.
• Perform monthly closing activities related to cost accounting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting standards and internal controls.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on cost estimation and margin analysis.
• Work closely with production, procurement, and operations teams to ensure cost accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular cost audits and stock take reconciliations.
• Prepare cost analysis reports for management decision-making.
• Support ERP implementation or enhancements relating to costing modules (if applicable).
