Job summary

San Pablo Colleges Medical Center in San Pablo City, Laguna is seeking a Cost Accountant to strengthen cost accounting, pricing analysis, financial reporting, and cost-efficiency initiatives.

You will provide financial insights to support management decisions and help drive profitability, collaborating with diverse departments to update costing policies and ensure cost data informs pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Graduate with BS in Accountancy or BS in Financial Management.
• CPA is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in Pricing and Costing.
• Strong background in Cost Accounting, Pricing, and Financial Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, records, and documentation.
• Review and update costing policies and procedures.
• Analyze product and service costs and compare standard costs with actual costs.
• Analyze changes in goods and services and determine their impact on costs.
• Prepare cost estimates for new and proposed products or services.
• Analyze profit margins and identify factors affecting pricing and profitability.
• Provide management with cost and profitability reports.
• Coordinate with various section heads to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure cost information is regularly updated and reflected in pricing decisions.
• Coordinate with relevant sections to benchmark hospital products and services and assess price competitiveness.
• Review and recommend pricing adjustments in accordance with policies and directives.
• Coordinate with Business Development Unit and Marketing Team in developing packages and promotions.
• Review proposed packages and promotions and provide recommendations to Finance Management and Top Management.
• Monitor the implementation and performance of approved pricing projects, packages, and promotions.
• Monitor applicable pricing regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and memoranda.
• Monitor the performance of launched projects, packages, and promotions.
• Conduct investment analysis for major capital expenditures, including revenue-generating equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Conduct cost-efficiency studies for hospital operating expenses and recommend improvements to management.
• Prepare other financial and management reports as required.
