Job summary

The role involves cost reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and creating dashboards using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python to support data-driven decisions across Finance, Accounting, HR, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in Cost Accounting or Financial Analysis is preferred.
• Completed or currently taking a Data Science/Data Analytics course is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, SQL or Python is a plus
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; detail-oriented with data interpretation abilities.

Calamba Medical Center is looking for a analytical and detail-oriented Cost Accountant who can combine accounting expertise with data-driven analysis to support effective financial and operational decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and analyze cost reports, budgets, and financial data
• Conduct cost and variance analysis
• Monitor departmental expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Prepare management and financial reports
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations for reporting
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools
• Support data-driven decision-making and process improvement
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate and reliable data

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Management Accounting is an advantage
• Completed or currently taking a Data Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics course is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to interpret data and present meaningful insights
