Job summary

D.M. Consunji, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee the implementation of safety programs and regulations at project sites, ensuring workplace safety and conducting inspections.

The role involves identifying hazards, investigating incidents, promoting safe work practices, coordinating with project management and the EHS team, and ensuring effective risk control measures across sites such as Pandacan, Albay, Zambales, or Pasay MOA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 1–3 years of experience as Safety Officer in construction.
• Knowledge of safety policies, hazard/risk analysis, and safety implementation.
• COSH Certificate.
• PCO Certification is an advantage.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to be assigned in Pandacan/ Albay/ Zambales/ Pasay (MOA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and identify safety hazards.
• Monitor compliance with occupational safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct safety orientations and trainings.
• Prepare safety reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with project management and EHS team.
• Monitor implementation of risk control measures.
